The complete doll brief

A doll from your first idea.

Start with a character, a drawing or a look you love. Plan the doll, every part and each custom service in one enquiry. Your choices are requests; supplier scope, fit, sample terms and prices will be reviewed before a quote.

01 · Your idea

Choose a starting point.

A complete base and a separate head/body are different routes. Confirm what a base includes before quoting additional parts. Original designs also need sculpt, prototype, sample and production planning.

02 · Parts & services

Build the whole picture.

For a BJD, learn what faceup and body painting include, and compare basic and fullset contents before choosing the work you need.

For each stage, ask us to find a source, request custom work, describe something you own, or leave a preference open. A listed reference is a starting point for review, never a compatibility result.

03 · Fit & samples

Define the size and approval steps.

New to jointed dolls? Understand BJD sizes and check eyes and wig measurements. Labels help you search; the actual model determines fit.

Requested deliverables · finished doll required for a complete build

Design files, prototypes, samples and production dolls are separate deliverables. For a design-only request, explore the digital design service.

Known measurements · leave unknowns open

04 · Budget & delivery

Set the project boundaries.

Your budget is a requested constraint. Design, tooling, samples, parts, finishing, service fees and shipping remain separate unquoted costs.
